Sweet Coppin


Originated in Devon, England in the 18th Century.  Fruit is sweet, low tannins and low acid.  Makes a sweet to mildly bittersweet cider.  Fruit are light yellow with partial red blush at times, medium-large size depending on crop load, and conical shape.  Mid-late bloom, harvest is mid-late season.  Biennial bearing can be an issue and tree is susceptible to scab and powdery mildew.
